Capoeira is not only a martial art, but also has a high musical, cultural and philosophical content. That makes capoeira beautiful and unique, but also complex. Even though capoeira is only a few centuries old, it already has a very rich and interesting history.
To make all these aspects more accessible to our students, we publish booklets from time to time: articles of a limited size where we discuss or highlight a certain topic or theme. This way you don’t have to read huge academic works to learn more about capoeira. Currently, our booklets are only available in Dutch, but we plan to translate them to English as well.
